Karl E. White
President

Karl E. White is Chief Investment Officer for Karl White of Gracian & Co., LLC, and former Executive Director of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Retirement Fund. He received a B.A. from Florida A & M University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees and also serves on the board of Roxbury Youthworks, Inc. (RYI), a community-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to create healthy families and strong communities.


Sr. Louise Kearns, SND
Treasurer and Clerk

Sister Louise Kearns is Director of Adult Services at Julie’s Family Learning Program, a South Boston community based support and education organization committed to helping low-income, female-headed families break the cycle of poverty. She received her B.A. from Emmanuel College and M.D.E. from Antioch College. She has been active in South Boston’s Adult Education Programs since 1973 and co-founded Julie’s Family Learning Program in 1980.


Anthony L. Gilardi
Board Member

Anthony L. Gilardi is the Business Manager for DC Housing Enterprises and Former Manager of the South Boston Resource Center for the Boston Redevelopment Authority. He received a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations.


Ernst Guerrier
Board Member

Ernst Guerrier is Principal Owner & Founder of Guerrier & Associates, P.C. He is also an adjunct professor at Suffolk University presently teaching State Courts Process and Policy. He sits on the Board of Trustees at Suffolk University. He holds degrees from Suffolk Law School and Boston University Law School. Ernst was recognized by Boston Magazine as among "Massachusetts Super Lawyers". He is fluent in Haitian and Creole.


William P. Ryan
Board Member

William P. Ryan recently retired as General Vice President of the Executive Board of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was on the IUOE board for 30 years. He was also on the faculty of the Labor Guild, School of Industrial Relations as well as president of the Archdiocese of Boston Labor Guild. In 2002 he was the recipient of the "Guardian Angel Award" from Julie’s Family Learning Program.
